Overview

Most people just drive through Higüey on the way to Punta Cana. This is where real Dominican life actually happens, the streets, the markets, the food, the people. We visit the Basílica de la Altagracia, walk through the city center, stop at the local market, and grab some street food before heading back. Four hours that feel nothing like a tour.
